About Our Start

Growing up in Easton, I had coaches who changed my life. They didn't just teach me how to field a ground ball — they taught me how to compete, how to handle failure, and how to show up every day.

When I got to college and started playing at the NCAA level, I kept thinking about the younger athletes back home. The ones who were where I was a few years ago — wanting to get better, needing guidance, but maybe not having access to the mentorship that could make a real difference.

So I built it.

Local Protégé started as just me and a few teammates giving lessons during the summer. Two years later, we have 10 college athletes coaching 200+ young athletes across Easton and growing. Not just running drills — actually mentoring. Talking about the game, about school, about life.

The name says it all. This is local. These are your neighbors. And we're here to pour everything we've learned into the next generation.
